Omi Ashi no Yu Footbath
This is a free footbath run by ryokan inn Eirakukan, about a three-minute walk from Bandai-Atami Station. The footbath is open to anyone, and is found just to the side of the entryway. The relatively hot water warms the whole body, and is popular for helping to boost metabolism. Eirakukan's hot spring is sourced from two underground springs bubbling up in the garden, Eirakusen and Shieisen, and these are blended in this outdoor bath. The water is considered to have beautifying properties due to the high pH, which helps it penetrate into the skin.
