A coffee shop on the eastern shore of Lake Chuzenji. It has a green awning and is right near the Chuzenji Yubinkyoku Mae bus stop. It serves items like beef curry, Napolitan style pasta, and Nikko natural shaved ice. Lake Chuzenji stretches out from right below its large windows, and it's a great spot for a break while gazing at the seasonal scenery. The shaved ice is made with natural ice procured from a Himuro (traditional ice chamber), of which only five remain in Japan. It won't freeze your throat and keeps its light and airy texture until the end.

この店の近くの宿に泊まったので、到着後夕食前までに、お店を訪問しました。窓際に家内と座り、二人とも香りのよいホットコーヒーをちょっとずつ飲みつつ、お互い好きな小説を読みつつ、静かな中禅寺湖を眺めながら１時間弱を過ごした。落ち着いた店だった。

저는 올드한 분위기 보다는 현대적인 분위기의 카페를 선호하는데, 니꼬에서는 좀처럼 그런 카페를 찾기 어려웠어요. 그런데 동조궁에 다녀오다가 니코역으로 가는 길에 이 카페를 발견했어요. 에스프레소와 카페를 주문했고, 커피는 아주 맛있었어요. 일본에서는 에스프레소가 안되는 곳도 꽤 있는데 에스프레소가 있어서 좋았고 아주 깨끗하고 모던한 분위기 였습니다!
