Omori Fruit Garden
This fruit garden was established in 1980. The garden cultivates apples, blueberries, strawberries, and other fruits on vast, 33 thousand square meter grounds. Dedicated to food safety, the garden's fruits are grown with as few agricultural chemicals as possible, and customers rave that you can enjoy its delicious fruits with peace of mind. Customers can come enjoy blueberry picking from around early July to early September, and apple picking from late September to late November. In recognition of its efforts to maintain quality soil conditions through means such as the use of high-quality compost, reduced use of chemical fertilizers, and reduced use of agricultural fertilizers, the garden received the prefecture's Eco Farmer designation in 2001.
