Rennoji Temple
This temple offers memorial services for dolls and stuffed animals. They hold a doll memorial ceremony on the second Sunday of every October. It's main claim to fame is the statue of the Joroku Amitabha Nyorai (Kosugi Great Buddha). This great Buddha statue was burned in war in the Warring States period, leaving only the face and wrists, and the body was remade in the Edo period. It also holds a Dainichi-Nyorai statue, and a Jizo Bosatsu statue registered as a national Cultural Asset.
