Okayama City Museum is located near the west exit of Okayama Station in Ekimotomachi, Kita Ward in the city of Okayama. The concept behind it is “to record, preserve, exhibit, and promote the history, present day, and glories of Okayama.” The permanent exhibit, “The History and Culture of Okayama,” displays materials about the natural environment as well as the history and culture of the city, and there are also time-limited exhibitions and art exhibitions.

- Thought we were just going to see the museum that was right next to the jr station and find out about the history of Okayama but happened to be there at the right time and got to see George Lucas...

- 岡山駅から2Fペデストリアン直通
- 岡山駅の2Fコンコースからそのままペデストリアンデッキを歩いて直通のビルの中にありました。下のフロアはNHKがはいっていました。有料の漫画などの展示もみたのですが、一番印象に残ったのは無料で見学可能だった岡山空襲の展示でした。

- 駅ビルのような感じです。岡山コンベンションで会議をしていて、ちょっと時間があったので寄ってみました。このような地方をきちんと宣伝していくこと、大切ですね。すっきり広くてよいスペースでした。
