Michi no Eki Road Station

This roadside station is located along National Route 482 in the Hiruzen Kamitokuyama area of Maniwa City. It sells local fresh agricultural products, specialty products such as Hiruzen Jersey cattle dairy products and Hiruzen wine, and craft items. In the restaurant, they offer local inexpensive meals including Hiruzen yakisoba, Jersey beef ramen and curry. In addition, there is an adjoining shop that sells gelato and soft-serve ice cream.

蒜山高原を訪れたときは、いつも立ち寄っています。冬季のせいか大きな野菜市場は休業、売店の内外に若干の野菜があるのみでした。売店内の小さな食堂に入り、名物の「蒜山焼きそば」を注文して食べました。料金は640円と安いのですが、ボリューム満点で、大変美味しかったです。

道の駅なので、地元の野菜や、お土産などが一通り揃っています。お値段も良心的だと思います。切り干し大根は味が染みやすく本当に美味しいです。
