A Japanese café located right in front of the approach to Kumano Hayatama Taisha Shrine. The small café incorporates naturally growing trees into its exterior design, giving it a soft, subdued atmosphere. The café’s signature meal is its Iwashimizu pork loin shabushabu set meal. Rose on spring water deep in the mountains, Iwashimizu pork loin is said to have twice the amount of umami flavor-producing substances as conventional pork. The café also offers popular local dishes like meharisushi rice balls wrapped in pickled mustard greens and aosa soba noodles made with sea lettuce nori and Wakayama plums. For coffee, the café uses aromatic and sweet-smelling top class UCC premium special beans. In addition, the café offers an abundant variety of healthy items like tofu cake and bitter melon juice.

熊野速玉大社鳥居のすぐそばの和風のカフェです。来店時間がランチタイムを過ぎており、おかずがなくなってしまったので、蕎麦かうどんしかできないと言われ、冷たい蕎麦を、連れは温かいあおさ蕎麦を頼みました。冷たい蕎麦はつけ汁の味が異様に濃く、つまんだ蕎麦の先だけ汁をつけて食べる「そば通」の食べ方で、連れのあおさ蕎麦は甘みのつよいかけ汁にあおさたがっぷり入っており、こちらを頼めばよかったと後悔しきり。旅から...
