This roadside station is on National Route 42 approximately five minutes by car from JR Tsubaki Station. Shirahama Town's Tsubaki area is famous for its natural hot springs that are said to be great for the skin. While it has the regular roadside station services like tourist information and special products, it also has a footbath and a public bath where you can enjoy their free-flowing hot spring water. Their family bath is a nice way to have a soak together. Buying a book of entry tickets will provide you a discount on each bath. They have a vending machine where you can purchase hot spring hot water too. Their eatery serves such regular dishes as set meals and rice bowls.

道の駅というよりは小さな入浴施設に軽食コーナーが併設されているという感じです。温泉はアルカリ性（pH 9.9）の単純硫黄温泉で肌がツルツルとなります。一人用の檜風呂は35℃ほどの源泉のまま、メイン浴槽は41℃ほどの適温に加温しているようです。日曜日でしたが混雑していませんでした。入浴料は600円ですがJAF優待で100円引きになります。

椿温泉の温泉街にある、道の駅の日帰り入浴施設。11時から営業で、入浴料は600円。JAF割引があります。源泉かけ流しのぬる湯と、加温された浴槽があり、交互浴が気持ちいい。化粧水のようなぬるすべ感があります。とてもいい温泉です。隣に足湯あり、日曜日は朝市があり、野菜や果物が並んでいます。

すさみ町の雫の滝で水遊びをして、日置の鳥毛洞窟に行って汗をかいた後に、こちらの温泉で汗を流しました。入浴料は５００円程だったと思います。お風呂場はそれほど広く無くて、他のお客さんが６名ほど入ってこられた時点で満員感を感じました。でもさっぱりして気持ちよかったです。
