The museum contains exhibits on the history and casting methods of dotaku Yayoi period bell-shaped bronze vessels, with a focus on the 24 Oiwayama dotaku excavated at Oiwayama in 1881 and 1962. The museum also contains exhibits on the folk customs and history of Yasu, such as a model recreation of the Nagahara Palace (excluding during special exhibitions and exhibition changeover periods).

銅鐸が展示してあり、特に製造方法などが学べます。古墳好きにはたまりません。近隣の古墳公園とセットで訪れることをおすすめします。

銅鐸に関する色々な資料や出土品が展示されています。ビデオでの説明とか・・２００円必要ですが、仕方ないのかな？色々と体験学習などをしようとするとそこそこの値段が別途必要です。陶芸は一番高くて１２００円、一番安いもので弥生陶板造りの３００円。

野洲駅からバスで20分くらい乗ったところにあります。近江富士が近いこともあり、自然の中にあります。入場料は200円です。野洲市民の方は無料。中は１階に銅鐸の展示が２室に分けてあり、実物大の銅鐸のレプリカは実際に叩いてみることもできます。ビデオを使用し、銅鐸の発見の様子などわかりやすいです。２階は企画展示です。行ったときは、野洲の古社、兵主大社の展示でした。なかなか珍しいものが残っており...
