Michi no Eki Road Station

A roadside station situated along Prefectural Route 2 in Ukano, Maibara City. The station has a store selling local agricultural and specialty products, a restaurant, and a light meal corner, as well as four tennis courts, an indoor multipurpose sports ground, plaza, and park. The adjoining Kurashi no Kogeikan training facility can accommodate overnight stays and has a studio, training rooms, bath area, and restaurant; the facility also holds exhibits of traditional crafts.

物産交流館さざなみで、初めて見た焼きサバそうめんを購入して食べてみました。あと、フルフルラーメンをお土産に買って帰りました。

民芸・古民家調の外観をした文化交流館さざなみには、市内で採れた農産物や湖北地域の特産品などを提供する物産コーナーや、観光案内と休憩のできる交流室、近江町の特産のフルフル麺やおからドーナツなどが楽しめる軽食コーナーがあります。

良く出てる 弁当や 和菓子が おすすめの 小さな 道の駅である。離れた別棟には 食事処もある。和風の小さな建物なので 味があって 楽しい。野菜類も 新鮮さを感じる。
