The station sells fresh, local agricultural and specialty products such as Kusatsu melons, farm-direct Omi beef, and Omi rice polished for free on-site. The station’s restaurant serves onigiri rice balls made with Omi rice, set meals, noodles, and desserts. There’s also the Rock Bay Garden farm activity facility, a spacious natural grass lawn, and event space where events such as sales of local specialty products are held.

子供の喜びそうな遊具があったりと、家族連れには長居の出来そうな道の駅。建物が三棟に別れてて、野菜や名産品などの建屋とレストラン系が二棟。お惣菜系が豊富な印象かな。買い物客でとっても賑わっていました。

ドライブにうってつけの道の駅ですが、ここの道の駅には下物ビオトープやいちご狩りファームも隣接してあり、半日楽しめます。
琵琶湖博物館の帰りに寄りました。

日帰り旅行の醍醐味で道の駅によるのが好きで、ご当地の野菜を見て回り手に入れるのが好きです。野菜売り場面積が広くて種類が豊富でした。
