Gansuiji Temple

Temple
This temple is located in Negata, Hamana-ku, Hamamatsu City, and opened in 725 by bodhisattva Gyoki. The primary object of worship is a hidden Bhaisajyaguru said to be constructed by Gyoki. The guardian-of-childbirth object of worship comes from the Tenryu River Ryujin Legend which emerged at the time of Sakanoue Tamuramaro's eastern expedition, and is now designated as a National Important Cultural Property.

    山里のお寺としては大きい方の部類に入るかと。平日の無料駐車場は余裕たっぷり。駐車場横にトイレがあるのも安心。大きな案内板も2カ所にあって分かりやすい。寺の前の渓流が神域と俗界を分けているのかなと小さな橋を渡る時に思いました。本堂の造りはとても立派です。参拝とご朱印をいただいてから、うなぎのおいしい店をおたずねしたら、いくつか名を挙げられましたが、何回か出た名前の店に行くことに決定。遠慮がちに、はみ...

    御朱印は三種いただけます。お寺ですが中に神社もあり、なかなか見所豊富です。天浜線御朱印めぐりのパンフレット、御朱印帳を、西鹿島駅で買ってから是非にご参拝ください。岩水寺のオリジナル御朱印帳も素敵です。

    近辺では、安産祈願で有名。また、節分の持ち投げも盛大です。森林公園の入り口で、静かな所です。観光客的な人は少ないのでは・・・
