Roadside Station Kawane Onsen

A road-side station in Shimada City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Along with the relaxing areas, information and restaurant common to most roadside stations, there is also a day-trip hot-spring and cottages with private baths. The hot-spring water has an ample supply and always runs to every bath non-recycled. Watch the steam locomotives running by from the outdoor baths of the day-trip hot-spring. There are also hands-on classes where you can get personal experience with Kawane tea.
