This historical childhood home of Shimizu Jirocho is in Shimizu Ward, Shizuoka City, located right on Jirocho Street. Here you can find on display photographs of Jirocho and his close associates Omasa and Komasa, as well as tools that he frequently used, in perfectly preserved rooms like the living room. Souvenirs are also available for purchase and the popular Victory-Cards are said to grant any wish.

清水港船宿記念館から徒歩で８分のところにあります。途中、橋の上からの清水港の眺めは必見。さらに進むと、次郎長の名が付いた次郎長通りを進むとすぐ。入口は狭いが奥のほうまで続く。次郎長の功績（知らなかったことが多いと実感）が詳しく紹介されたり、仏間や古井戸・鴨居など当時の生家の様子を再現している。次郎長一家の写真も必見。お土産コーナーもあるから、ショッピングも楽しめます。

次郎長通りという商店街の途中にあります。間口が小さいので、見逃さないように注意が必要です。外観は、古い家、という感じですが、中は整備されています。奥に長く、中庭があるのが特徴的です。
