This venerable eel restaurant is located in Shimizu Town, Sunto County, Shizuoka Prefecture. It is famous for offering wild-caught eel from the clear spring-fed waters of the Kakita River. Except during busy periods and long holidays in the summer, the restaurant also offers set meals, full-course meals, and other items. The spacious interior features both tatami and table seating, while the second floor offers private dining rooms. The restaurant, which closes as soon as it runs out of eel for the day, is visited by locals and tourists alike.

うなぎの味が楽しめる とても品のあるお店です。
サービスも良いです。うなぎのメニューがわりとたくさんあります。 味はとてもさっぱりでコクがあります。なんと言っても山椒が美味しいですよー
見たことのない緑色の山椒で香り高くつーんと辛さがきますが上品です。

ウナギ屋さんですが、いろいろメニューが多くウナギが苦手な方がいらしゃっても食べるものに困らないと思います。
うな重は、タレも濃くなく最後まで美味しく食べれます。
また、山椒も香り良くウナギを引き立ててくれます。

三島には鰻の名店と言われるお店が何店かありますが、ここは他にはない独自のメニューがあるとのことで、仕事先の地元の方に連れて行っていただきました。
こちらならではのメニューということで、石焼丼を注文します。
