A Buddhist temple located in Tachibana, Naka Ward, Nagoya City. Founded in 1690, locally it is known as Gobo-san. The temple holds a regular festival every 12th of the month as well as a homemade food and handicraft morning market every 28th of the month. The temple also conducts events such as regular sermons, a variety of lectures, and the Oteraifu temple life experience which lets participants stay at the temple for one night and two days.

江戸時代の建造物は東門のみ

地下鉄東別院駅から徒歩3分ほど。1690年創建。本尊は阿弥陀如来。ほとんどの建物は戦災で焼失しており、現在の山門や本堂は1960年代に建立されたたもの。大きく立派ではあるが趣きはない。江戸時代の建造物としては唯一「東門」だけが残っている(国登録有形文化財)。
都会の中の癒やされる場所

とても広い境内で、本殿が立派で素晴らしいです。境内では、春は桜が楽しめて6月は色とりどりの紫陽花が見事でした。春夏秋冬それぞれに趣があります。都会の真ん中で、とても心が洗われる癒やされる場所です。

行く年を懐かしみ、新しい年をお迎えするため行きました。デジタル掛軸で本堂は彩られ、能、和太鼓、三味線が続いていました。
