This racecourse is located in Shikita, Magome-cho, Toyoake City. Construction of the course was completed, and the first Chukyo horserace was held in 1953. It underwent a major renovation in 2012, and in addition to holding the Takamatsunomiya Kinen in March and the Champions Cup GI races in December, the amusement park inside the racecourse grounds was made free on days other than event days.

中京圏唯一のJRA競馬場。G１開催場所でもあるが、小さい競馬場ですので、重賞以上が開催されるときは非常ににぎわっています。
自由席はすぐに埋まります

中京競馬場は自由席が少ないのが難点でして、最初のレースが始まる10時頃の時点でほぼ全ての席が埋っています。１日競馬をするとさすがに疲れるので、可能ならば早めに行って席を確保するのが良いと思います。競馬場自体は綺麗で快適に過ごせます。

BABYMETALライブ前に行きました。駅から遠いし地下道でないし食事も並びがすごくて嫌になりました。ガラスばりの一般席があるのは良かった
