An art museum located in Toyohashi Park in Imahashi-cho, Toyohashi City. The museum's collection includes some 1,000 works of art such as paintings, calligraphy, and photographs, with a focus on local artists; historical materials connected to Yoshida Castle, Kyoto pottery, Korean and Chinese porcelain, archeological materials, and folk custom materials. In addition to its standing exhibition, the museum holds special exhibitions and, once every three years, the Triennale Toyohashi exhibition, which is open to public entry.

館は市役所の右手豊橋公園の中にある。企画展はなかったが目的は「人人会の作家たち」と題されたコレクション展。この作品展は日本橋三越で開催された第１回人人展（１９７４年、６月）に出品された絵が殆どでとても貴重な展覧会。会員は豊橋ゆかりの中村正義を中心に７人で構成され翌年原爆図で有名な丸木位里・俊も加わった。会員はそれぞれ一匹オオカミでその画風はとても個性的だ。瞽女を描き続けた斉藤真一、ユーモアに富んだ...

豊橋公園内にある美術館兼博物館。常設展は観覧無料。1階が企画展示室、2階が常設展示室となっている。美術館としては郷土ゆかりの画家の作品の他、黒田清輝などの有名画家の小品もある。博物館としては土器、陶磁器、昔の豊橋の写真など。展示数はそれほど多くないので、豊橋公園を訪れた際に見学してみてはどうでしょうか。

豊橋公園の中にある市営の施設です。訪れたときは企画展をやっておらず、入場無料の展示のみでした。市が所蔵する絵画などの展示のほか、市内の遺跡を紹介する展示もあり、なかなか興味深かったです。
