"A Japanese and Western confectionary shop located in Asuke-cho, Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture. Famous for its renowned local-style sweets, the shop's ""Kaede,"" made with rice flour, were even granted the Prime Minister's Awarded. The shop offers a variety of sweets mixing Japanese and Western influences, including choux cremes and the ""Rare Potato"" baked sweet potato puree. In the adjoining tatami mat room, you can see marks left by the sword of Kamo Ikki, a sight which attracts many tourists."

看板商品は、かゑで。米粉をしっかり固めた甘いお菓子です。源氏物語からとってきているようで、この文様もお香の形。ちょっと説明を受けましたが、細かいところはお店の人も曖昧です。
和菓子屋さんなのに洋菓子がたくさんでした。

久々に足助に来たのでお土産を買いに行ってきました。まずはシーズンなので栗きんとん！！そしてお楽しみのレアポテト。お持ち帰り用と、このレアポテトが激的に大好きな友達のために大量買いしました。めっちゃおいしくてコーヒーにすっごく合うんですよねぇ-。。。でもおデブになりそう（笑）とってもおいしいので試してみてください！店内で食べてるとコーヒーくれます！

今回は、レアポテトを注文。重量によってお値段が異なるということでしたが、１個あたり300円から400円位の感じでした。甘さ強めのスイーツでしたので、コーヒーとよく合いました。ごちそうさまでした。
