Koshoji Temple

A Buddhist temple located in Showa Ward, Nagoya City dedicated to Dainichi-Nyorai. The temple is also famous as having been a favorite of the Owari Tokugawa family. The temple grounds are hosting to designated Important Cultural Properties such as a five tier pagoda, and the temple's mountain walking path attracts many visitors. A monthly festival and market are also held at the temple.

興正寺を散策の後にちょっと一息

本堂向かって右側にある階段やエスカレータで上に上がり、そのまま道を進んで一番奥にある茶室です。ここでは本堂裏にある庭園、普門園を拝観できますが入場料として500円（お抹茶とお菓子付）が必要になります。それでも庭園を眺めながらお抹茶をいただき、静かに時を過ごすことができて、ちょっと癒された気分になりました。興正寺へ行った際は是非立ち寄ってみてはいかがでしょうか。
