A performing arts theater located close to Nagoya Castle in Naka Ward, Nagoya City which first opened its doors in 1997. The largest Noh theater in the country, visitors can also view exhibits and videos on Noh in the facility. Noh, kyogen farces, and other traditional arts performances are held here regularly each month, attracting theater goers from around the country and the world.

立派な能舞台

能舞台と関係ない講演会にゆきました。しかしメインは立派な能舞台であり、名古屋を代表する場所となります。
休館中でした

加藤清正公の銅像のそばに有ります。丁度空調設備の為１ケ月程休館との張り紙が有り、入館は出来ませんでした。ただ後で訪問した徳川美術館で能舞台を見ることが出来ました。ここと関係あるかどうか分かりませんが、初代藩主義直公が能がお好きだったそうですね。

名古屋城の正門のすぐ近くにあります。能舞台を見学することができました。ボランティアガイドさんが丁寧に説明してくださり、こちらは日本一の大きさなんだそうです。実際に能面をつける体験もできました（写真撮影可能）。能の公演も見てみたくなりました。
