This restaurant is located a five-minute drive from the East Exit of JR Kuwana Station. Renovated from the Ryotei Ryokan Funatsuya that opened in 1875 in Kuwana-juku, one of the post towns in the 53 Stations of the Tokaido, they offer authentic Italian and kaiseki tea ceremony cuisine with an inherited ryotei (high-class Japanese style restaurant) taste. You can eat in the bright and open Garden Room with a spacious and retro modern atmosphere for lunch during weekdays. Dinner is served in a tasteful private room, and it is recommended for spending special days such as anniversaries while tasting a course of local Kuwana clams and Italian cuisine using vegetables direct from contract farmers and seasonal seafood.

家族三人で訪れました。デザートバイキングでしたが何点かご飯、カレー、肉類、サラダ、スープとあり、十分お腹一杯になりました。

評判を聞いて行ってみました。近くなら行ってみても良いと思いますが、近くに良いお店があるならわざわざ行くほどではないと思います。2000円のランチコースはお得かなと思いますが。木々が窓から見えるロケーションは良いです。前菜は色とりどりでおいしいです。メインとパスタも普通に美味しいです。ただパンが不思議なほど油っぽくちぎると手がべたべたに。揚げパンかと思うほどでした。お料理をサーブする方も慣れてない...

レストラ化した船津屋へは今回2度目の訪問でした。料理は普通。ボリューミーではありません。料金は、そこそこします。駐車場は、BMWのディーラーの北側にあります。
