This udon noodle shop is right near Ujiyamada Station. They serve authentic Ise udon in the warm atmosphere of an old-fashioned store. Located next to Isetoyouke Inari-jinja Shrine, the shop is well-known, having been popular with the locals for many years and visited by celebrities. Their hallmark dish is, of course, Ise udon, with fat, chewy noodles in a rich, sweet and savory sauce. Their meat topped Niku Ise Udon and Tsukimi Ise Udon with a raw egg on top come particularly recommended.

伊勢うどんの名称発祥の名店として著名人のファンも多いと聞くが、外観・内装共に昭和レトロ。時間外れで他にお客さんがいなかったのですが、ご主人と奥様の気さくで愛想の良い対応が印象的でした。

伊勢うどんは過去にも食べたが、あまり美味しいと思った記憶がなかったが、ここのお店でイメージが一変しました。うどんというよりはお麩を食べているような食感ですが、この柔柔感が出汁とすごくあってて美味しかったです。玉子、肉付きがおすすめです。
