Each of these items is personally delivered by the 120 producers from the city and elsewhere who created them. The station's popular restaurant, Okatteba, which has a focus on local production and local consumption, serves food made with the locally-produced ingredients sold at the station's farmer's market. Guests at the cafeteria-style restaurant can eat outside on its terrace when the weather cooperates.

山中湖方面に向かう道で、少し外れるがトイレ休憩に寄った。リニア見学センターの手前の道の駅。センターの見学は予約がなくても行けるのだろうか、と考えながらトイレに行き、施設を利用しようとしたら目の前で鍵を閉めていたので、きっとそんな時間からは見学も無理だっただろう。トイレの個室にお酒の紹介が貼られており、興味があったのだが遅すぎた。残念。
物販は少なめ、食事は安い。

近隣でキャンプの前後に寄りました。4月という季節的なものもあるかも知れませんが、地場の特産品の物販はあまり多くはありませんでした。食事処はコロナ対策をしっかりやられていて、安めのお値段で美味しかったです。
