Jibuzaka Highland

Plateau
A highland located in Achi Village, Shimoina County, Nagano Prefecture. Situated at the highest point of National Route 153, visitors to the area can enjoy beautiful natural scenery. In spring, Japanese azaleas come into bloom; in summer, cosmos; and in fall, lovely autumn foliage turns the highland red and gold. The Jib Highland Ski Area, located nearby, sees a great many visitors in winter.
