福井県との県境にある夜叉ケ池にまつわる伝説の地である坂内地域にある道の駅で、自然資源が豊富な地域なので、野菜やジビエを活用した料理や特産品が名物です。レストランでの鹿肉料理がオススメです。
この地域の休憩所として貴重

寄ってみるとかなり田舎臭い感じがしました。このエリアを走っていて、コンビニなどは一切ないので、トイレ休憩の施設としては重要です。
夜叉が池

滋賀へ抜ける街道沿いにあり、名前にもある夜叉が池の登山者用駐車場としても利用されているようです。特産品の販売や軽食も可能ですが、規模が小さいと感じます。スナックコーナーでダチョウコロッケを食べました、少しクセのある味ですね。
