Located along Prefectural Route 53, this roadside station is adjacent to Ikeda Onsen. It is characterized by a shopping complex with glass walls that highlight the colors of the timbers , and sells fresh local vegetables and other local products. In addition to a restaurant and a free foot bath, Ikeda Onsen, well known for having a beautifying effect on one’s skin, is a popular attraction. The onsen prides itself on the slippery texture of the water from the natural hot springs. It is recommended that visitors come here to refresh themselves after hiking around Mt. Ontake or Mt. Gifu Kinkazan, and other areas in the lush, green foothills. They hope the station is considered as the center of the town of Ikeda, where they can interact with large numbers of people.

岐阜県の池田町にある道の駅池田温泉です。道の駅に温泉施設が併設されています。ここの温泉はアルカリ性でぬるぬるしています。屋内の大浴場、サウナ、水風呂と屋外のジャグジー、露天、ウォーキング、五右衛門等の多くのお風呂が700円です。良いと思います。
JA農産物販売所は賑わっていました。

一寸休憩兼ランチに立寄りました。時節柄の所為もあってか、期待した飲食店は休業状態で飲物だけで早々に退散せざるを得ませんでした。訪問当日は休日ともあって賑わっていましたが、JAの農産物販売所へ向かう層が多いようでした。
産直野菜は安くなかった。

雨の日は収穫が少なく、棚の商品はほとんどありませんでした。いちごは市場相場。タケノコは大きいが値段相応でウィンドウショッピングになりました。
