Camping / Auto Camping

Located approximately a five-minute drive from the Tokai-Hokuriku Expressway’s Takasu Interchange, this campsite is located in nature-rich Akeno Kogen. There are various types of rental cottages using Finnish wood, bungalows that make you feel as if you are in a secret getaway, and an auto campsite in the middle of a natural forest. In Wanko Paradise, the auto campsite where you can stay with your pets, there are fences installed around the perimeter so it can also be used as a dog park. In addition, you can also enjoy nature experience workshops such as for outdoor cooking, and the playground equipment, water play area, horse-riding club and fishing pond.

Gifu Main Areas

Tucked away in the very center of Japan, Gifu prefecture houses mountains, old towns, and one of Japan's greatest hot springs, Gero Onsen. A tour of the prefecture's traditional architecture will take you from the mountain-enveloped wooden streets of Takayama to the mountain village of Shirakawago, where visitors can explore 250-year-old thatched roofed houses known as gassho-zukuri.
