This Gujo store sells its own brand of geta, Japanese wooden clogs. Known as “Odori-geta, they're used in Gujo-Hachiman's famous local dance, the Gujo-odori. The store is particular about making them with quality hinoki cypress from the mountains around Gujo. Their clogs are cut whole from single pieces of wood, so they won't break even if you dance the night away on stone pavement. The shop also has a selection of colorful thongs for customizing them as you like, available in a variety of materials ranging from silkscreen prints to antique cloth.

いわゆる郡上おどりの際に履く、踊り下駄を専門に扱われてます。鳴らしながら踊るので、欠かせない踊り下駄。下駄のサイズ、鼻緒のデザイン、追加オプションで名入れや模様のレーザー加工も出来ます。他人とは違った個性豊かな下駄で決めたい方には、オススメですが、一足4200円-と他のお店より少しお高め。早い人ではシーズンに二-三足履き潰すので、消耗品と考えると、少しもったいない気がします。
