Funasaka Sake Brewery (舩坂酒造店)

Liquor Store

This sake brewery is located in Takayama City, Gifu Prefecture in the middle of the old towns past the red Naka Bridge. With 200 years of history, they produce a lot of Japanese sake, including junmai ginjo (pure rice premium sake) Miyamagiku, which has umami and sweetness using Hida spring water and good quality brewer’s rice. Besides the Japanese sake shop and souvenir store, you can freely enjoy sake in the adjoining sake bar. In addition, there is also Restaurant Aji no Yohei, where you can taste Hida beef and please your mouth with juicy meat while drinking high-grade sake.
