Located near JR Takayama Station in Gifu Prefecture, Wanakura Tsubakiya serves Kaiseki cuisine and other Japanese food. All guests, aside from those who choose to sit at the counter, are in individual rooms, so the atmosphere is one in which people can relax and take their time eating. Customers can enjoy large servings of Sashimi made with seasonal fish and vegetables, Tempura, Hida beef liver roasted on skewers, broiled sushi, and other dishes made with carefully selected ingredients. Lunchtime offers the Shokado Bento (served in a box with four compartments) or a mini Kaiseki meal. The restaurant also provides hors d’oeuvres and delivers boxed meals that can be enjoyed during meetings or banquets or for other situations.
