This restaurant that specializes in teppan griddle cuisine is about six minutes from the Tokai-Hokuriku Expressway's Gujo Hachiman Interchange, in the center of Okumino's castle town Gujo Hachiman. They're dedicated to meticulously preparing ingredients from Okumino, raised by the passion of the producers on the pure upper reaches of the Nagaragawa River, surrounded by the deep green of the mountains. You can watch them preparing your food right before your eyes from the counter seating in the 100-year-old building that was once a private home. In addition to their hobamiso-yaki made with thick cuts of Hida beef, their Gujo-yaki with lots of faintly sweet local onion is also popular.

飛騨牛のステーキも注文できる鉄板焼き屋さん。朴葉味噌とお好み焼きを注文したが、どちらも美味しかった。

いつもお好み焼と焼きそばを注文します。2人以上でシェアして食べるといいです。あと、串焼きとレバー焼が美味しくて好きです。ただ夜の7時過ぎると座るところが無くなるので、早めに行くことをお勧めします。

アットホームの鉄板焼き屋さんお食事というより呑む場所かなぁって感じです。お好み焼きから飛騨牛まであります。値段もそこそこリーズナブル。思い出したらまた行きたくなるお店です。
