Matto Kaihin Park C.C.Z. (Coastal Community Zone)

A leisure zone sprawling cross some 1,800 meters of coastline. Here visitors will find playground equipment and a vast natural grass lawn comprised of Mattoh Seaside Park. The zone also encompasses a variety of facilities such as Matto Kaihin Onsen, a public hot spring bathhouse; and the Hakusan Kaido Ichiba shopping mall. Many of the facilities can be freely used by local residents, like a golf course and heated pool. The Bridge Matto, a pedestrian bridge, offers a nice view of the Sea of Japan and is a popular spot for couples. With an advance reservation, you can also barbecue here from April through November. Equipment such as grilling nets and charcoal tongs is available for rent.
