A swimming beach located a 10 minute drive from the Kaga Interchange on the Hokuriku Expressway. The beach is renowned for its beautiful sands and highly transparent waters. Swimming can be enjoyed here for approximately one month from mid-July to mid-August. A lovely pine forest grows on the right hand side of the beach. On clear days, beachgoers can see Tojinbo, one of Fukui Prefecture's most scenic areas, across the beach's waters. The beach's privately operated clubhouses offer a variety of services including showers and equipment rentals. They also conduct yoga classes and music events. The beach's parking area has 30 free parking spaces and, on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and on the Bon Festival, another 200 paid parking spaces are made available.

Ishikawa Main Areas
Long, thin Ishikawa prefecture runs along the Sea of Japan up into Noto Peninsula. Highlights of the seaside towns lining the west coast include Kanazawa, often described as a "Little Kyoto" thanks to its old wooden tea houses and geisha culture as well as its picturesque Japanese garden, Kenroku-en.
