Kutani Mangetsu

Souvenirs
A Kutani ware shop which carries over 10,000 items located a five minute walk from JR Kagaonsen Station. Notable for selling a large number of pieces by renowned artists, around 70 to 80 percent of the shop's pieces were crafted by Living National Treasure-designated craftspeople such as Tokuda Yasokichi III and Minori Yoshita. In addition to exquisite artistic pieces, the shop also carries reasonably priced Japanese tableware perfect for everyday use. The shop's soy sauce bottles and kyusu teapots are particularly popular. More unusual selections include Kutani ware USB memory sticks and colorful lucky skulls. The shop also holds potter's wheel and ceramics painting workshops even beginners will enjoy.
