金沢市の繫華街の西側にある武家屋敷跡エリアにある休憩スペースを兼ねたインフォメーションセンターのような場所です。このエリアに来るまで少し繫華街から歩くので休憩にいいです。自分は個人行動が好きですが、ガイドもいるので解説が欲しい方はお願いするのもいいと思います。

金沢の長町にある武家屋敷通り。一般開放されている野村家を見学し、この通りを北に向かって歩いていました。大野庄用水に面して武家屋敷の薄茶色の土壁が続き、その先に雰囲気ある門がありました。ここが、長町武家屋敷休憩館でした。門に中に入ると、休憩スペースの他、トイレもあります。観光パンフレットや武家屋敷の展示コーナーもあるので、休憩しながら情報も得ることができる便利なスポットですね。

長町の武家屋敷通りを大野庄用水横の道を北側へ向かっていると、こちらの施設がありました。門構えが武家屋敷通りに似合っています。門をくぐると、「休憩館」という名前の通り、休憩室やトイレがあって、観光パンフレットや展示コーナーもありました。武家屋敷通りの休憩スポットにちょうどよい施設ですね。
