Sensai Enishi
"A Japanese izakaya pub serving seafood owned and operated by the Ohguchi Suisan Group fish dealer located in the Omi-cho Market Hall a 12 minute walk from the Kenrokuen exit of Kanazawa Station. The restaurant takes pride in serving dishes made with the kind of fresh seafood only a fish dealer can provide. The restaurant's signature dish is its ""Kaisen Enishi-don,"" a seafood rice bowl loaded with an abundance of local Kanazawa toppings such as Japanese amberjack, northern shrimp, crab, blackthroat seaperch, ikura salted salmon roe, and sea urchin. Also recommended is the ""Nodoguro Hitsumabushi,"" made with an entire blackthroat seaperch, a highly prized fish from the Sea of Japan, sliced thin and served over rice, this tasty dish can be enjoyed three different ways. The establishment also carries a wide selection of choice local liquors from the Hokuriku region."
