Nishiyama Park
The only spot along the Sea of Japan famous for azaleas, Nishiyama Park is known for its roughly 50,000 azaleas, and is invigorated with many visitors who come during the “Tsutsuji Festival” held early May each year. There are other events too, like the “Momiji Festival” in fall and the “Sabae Snow Festival” in winter.
