Mt. Yahiko Skyline

Skyline, etc.
This 13.7 km-long scenic mountain road that opened in 1970 is a 25-minute drive from Sanjo-Tsubame Interchange on the Hokuriku Expressway. This road, which traverses the ridges of Mt. Yahiko above the Nanaura Coast, is notable for its scenic views of the Sea of Japan. Selected as one of Japan's Best 100 Roads, the skyline leads to Yahiko Summit Park, which features a 100-meter-tall panoramic tower and a restaurant with stunning views. The road is closed during winter (December to March).
