This botanical garden is around the area by Lake Tazawa in Semboku City, Akita Prefecture. The herb garden has over 250 kinds of herbs on display, and for a fee, guests can try various crafts, like making their own scent sprays or hand creams with herbs and oils. There is also a restaurant inside the garden with menus geared toward large groups, as well as a lunch buffet. It is popular with families and other tourist groups.

Im not sure why this place doesnt rate higher among things to do. Then again, it perhaps should really be listed under restaurants, as you would mainly go here to eat.We went for the weekend...

湖畔のレストランと売店施設です。料理メニュー（洋食）は豊富で味もよくこのエリアでは人をつれて行っても大丈夫な施設です。
田沢湖が綺麗でした。

お天気の良い日に訪問したので田沢湖がとても綺麗に見えました。平日だったのでセットを注文するとサラダバーとスープバーが着いてきました。種類は多くありませんでしたが観光地のわりには良心的でした。地元の方が多い様に思えます。裏は自然を生かした庭園になっていてドライブの途中の息抜きにちょうど良いです。
