Japanese Confectionery

Morokoshian specializes in the traditional sweet Morokoshi, made from shaped adzuki bean flour, and is the originator of the uncooked Namamorokoshi version. Founded in 1957, it's long been loved as the premier purveyor of Little Kyoto Kakunodate's famed Namamorokoshi sweets. The Bukeyashiki shop is on Bukeyashiki-dori Street near JR Kakunodate Station. They have a wide selection of morokoshi goods and seasonal items as well.

角館の武家屋敷通りにある和菓子店。もろこしはあずきの粉を原材料にしたお菓子です。もろこしあん、茶花仙、生もろこしなどの品物があります。試食もさせてもらえます。中でも、もろこしクッキーは絶品です。ほんのりしたあずきの甘さに、口の中でとろけうような柔らかい舌触りが、癖になりそうです
