陸中野田駅の駅舎と一体化した道の駅。土産物店、地域で収穫された農産物の販売所、レストランなどが入っている。野田村では昔から直煮製塩という方法で塩が作られているということで、製塩作業を表現したジオラマやパネル説明があり、その塩を使った商品も販売している。中でもオススメは「のだ塩ソフトクリーム」。ほのかに塩味が効いており、汗をかく夏にはピッタリの味わいである。
三陸鉄道陸中野田駅と併設の道の駅

国道45号線沿いにあり、三陸鉄道・陸中野田駅に隣接して設置された道の駅です。施設は三陸鉄道の駅、観光物産館（お土産売り場）、産直市場、レストランが併設していましたが、まだ早い時間だったためレストランは準備中でした。事務室では三陸鉄道の切符の販売と観光案内をしていて、レンタサイクル（１日500円）の取扱いもありました。
