Shinyamae Onsen, Beppin no Yu is a hot spring and lodging facility located in the city of Kuji in Iwate Prefecture. It features the strongly alkaline hot water typical of the Tohoku region, which customers can enjoy in spacious bathing rooms or in outdoor baths that afford views of the surrounding mountains. Meeting rooms and banquet rooms are also available, along with a retail store that sells souvenirs and farm-fresh vegetables. In the dining room, customers enjoy simple regional cuisine made with local ingredients.

ここは鄙びた山間にある宿泊施設ですが、宿泊もできる入浴施設といった方が、実態に合っている気がします。入浴客は常時訪れていて、施設側もその応対がメインなのは明らかでした。入浴料金は480円です。

東北地方にとどまらず、全国でも有数の強アルカリ泉(pH10.7)がこの温泉の売りです。しかし、今回訪問時だけのお湯の状態だったのかは判りませんが、pH値ほどのヌルヌル感は感じられませんでした。ただ浴室の床...

岩手県北の沿岸に位置する久慈市内から更に車で30〜40分走った山奥にあります。
お湯は日本有数の強アルカリ硫黄泉でPH10.8らしいです(°_°)
ゆえに、お湯はヌルヌル、お肌はスベスベになり最高ですね〜、まさにべっぴんの湯!
ただし、雰囲気的にはややスーパー銭湯的な建物の造りで、秘湯感は皆無なので、この点は評価の分かれる所と感じました。

久慈市から内陸部に入ったところにある温泉です。
多少ぬめりがあり、肌にとてもよい温泉だと思います。
知る人ぞ知るという温泉ですね。
