Roadside Station Tono Kazu no Oka

Michi no Eki Road Station
This roadside station is located in Tono City, Iwate Prefecture. The spiral magnus wind turbine, with blades shaped like screws, is the symbol of the facility. In addition, it sells locally harvested agricultural products, folk crafts and handicrafts, and features a rich variety of items. You can also enjoy Kuretsubo soba (buckwheat noodles), gyoja garlic ramen and a set meal with jingisukan (grilled mutton).

    遠野市郊外の高台にあった道の駅、2月に訪れたときは仮設の施設で営業中で少し窮屈な感じでした。施設の中には地元の名産がたっぷりあり見ていても楽しい。奥にはフードコートもあるのでゆっくりと休憩することができてよかったです。
