Roadside Station Atsumi is located along the Ushuhama Highway in Wasada Tonoura in the city of Tsuruoka. It includes a shop that sells local products, such as tsukemono (pickled vegetables) and folk crafts, along with a restaurant that sells full means that feature freshly caught seafood from nearby Nezugaseki Harbor. There is also an outdoor bazaar, where visitors can buy seafood, such as roasted squid, turbo cooked in its shell, or snacks such as soft ice cream. Since this roadside station is located on the seashore, visitors can watch the sun set over the Sea of Japan.

海辺に立つ道の駅

あつみ温泉から南下して笹川流れに向かう途中に有ります。この辺りはトイレ休憩をするところもありませんので、ここに寄ることをお勧めします。地元の特産物も沢山販売されていますし、横にレストランもあります。

国道7号線沿いにある大きな道の駅です。レストランしゃりんでは日本海の幸が食べられます。お刺身定食がお勧めですが、焼き魚定食や煮魚定食もおススメ。その日仕入れた魚を定食にしてくれます。魚フライも美味しかった。

道の駅の裏に海で遊べるような場所があります。水がとても綺麗です。またヘリ遊覧も出来るようでした。お土産屋で買ったとち餅が素朴な味わいでよかったです。
