This sushi bar was founded in 1955 on the current site near Hie Shrine in Hiyoshi-cho, Sakata City. One can enjoy a bottle of microbrew jizake along with seasonal fresh nigiri-sushi or a la carte items. With the omakase chef selection course, 12-13 different items are prepared not only with soy sauce, but salt, citrus pepper, or grilled, as most tasteful at the discretion of the chef.

前日に電話で席だけ予約し、家族３人で行きました。2階の個室を用意してくれました。座敷にテーブルと椅子を置いた上品な個室です。おまかせ握りを食べたかったのですが、おまかせ握りは１階限定とのことで特上握りを注文しました。握りのセットだとさらに１人分全てのせて出されることが多いのですが、ここでは同じネタ３貫（つまり一人一貫づつ）順番で出されます。シャリ、ネタも絶品でした。特に中トロは口に入れたとかんとろ...

会社の接待にて利用しました。先ず店内に入れば、威勢の良い掛け声が飛び交い活気に溢れている雰囲気が伝わって来ます。4000円のコース料理でしたが、基本魚系メインの料理で、刺身、煮付け、お寿司など多彩に楽しめます。東京の麹町も気になるところです。
