A minshuku traditional Japanese bed and breakfast located Shimogo Town, Minamiaizu County, Fukushima Prefecture which has been in businesses for some 300 years since the Edo period. Visitors are sure to enjoy the minshuku's charming thatched roof building as well as its kiritanpo nabe toasted rice ball hotpot, char broiled around an old-fashioned irori sunken hearth, and other traditional Japanese cuisine. The facility also has a cafe as well as a souvenir shop selling Aizu-hongo ware tableware and a wide variety of other Aizu crafts and goods.

    This is one of (I think) 3 minshuku on the main street in Ouchijuku. Meaning youre sleeping in a thatched roof house in the middle of this old-timey village.The inn itself is a bit hard to find...
