Roadside Station Soma
A roadside station standing along National Route 6. In addition to selling souvenirs, the station has a restaurant-the Soma-iso Soba noodles and aonori seaweed croquettes are particularly popular menu choices. Horseback rides, cooking classes, and other events are held at the station's Taiken Jisshu-kan hall, while the Doro Joho-kan information center has a space where station visitors can relax and take a break. In addition to area tourists, the station also serves as a gathering space for and is visited by many local residents.
