Ouchijuku Bunke Tamaya

A cafe located in Shimogo Town, Minamiaizu County, Fukushima Prefecture. Operating out of an old-fashioned Japanese style home building with a thatched roof, the cafe serves Japanese food and handmade sweets. Particularly popular are the cafe's homemade soba noodles crated with locally grown buckwheat, and its chicken seiro-meshi rice made with chicken and rice steamed in a seiro basket in the cafe's old-fashioned kamado hearth. The restaurant's sweets are also made with local ingredients.
