A Japanese izakaya bar renowned for its delicious, mom's home cooking-style food made with local ingredients. The establishment's appetizers come in hearty portions. The bar has counter, tatami mat, and kotatsu sunken table seating and the friendly atmosphere makes it easy for individuals as well as groups to feel welcome here. Another nice thing is that the bar offers takeout and doggy bags. The establishment's large menu includes seasonal fish served stewed and roasted in foil.

Centuries-old stories of samurai at Kakunodate and the remains of millennia-old archaeological sites including the likes of Isedotai invite history buffs to delve into Aomori’s fascinating history. As the most northern prefecture on the Japanese mainland, Aomori enjoys a cooler climate, which makes it a welcome escape from the southern cities for combining castles, art galleries, and summer festivals with the great outdoors.
